When you're in a startup, your only output is not the product itself. It's easy to get blindsided by this when you focus on the users, the features, marketing, scaling. But the team itself is as much or even more important than the product. If you invest getting the team dynamic right, then the product has a way better chance of success. Perhaps the first product will not even be a success, there's plenty of examples of trial through fire producing a failing product but a winning team that only made it on their second, third, or fourth shot. Investing in the team is strategically important if you are in it for the long run. Yours, Taj |
